Cub Scouting is a journey of discovery, growth, and unforgettable memories. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, learning new skills, or laughing with friends, Cub Scouting is where adventure comes to life.

WHERE AND WHEN WE MEET
  • Our Scouting year runs from May to May, encouraging year-round participation.
  • School Year: Pack meetings are held at the Vets Hall on First Street in Benicia, typically on the first Tuesday of each month.
  • Late Spring & Summer: We take the fun outdoors, exploring local parks and enjoying nature!

Scouting Costs
  • Golden Gate Area Council (GGAC) Fees:
    • Youth participants (Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Sea Scouts): $155 total ($85 National Fee + $70 Local Council Fee)
    • Adult volunteers (Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, District, or Council volunteers): $110 total ($65 National Fee + $45 Local Council Fee) Scout Life magazine (optional but recommended): $15

How to Join Scouting

Joining Pack 108 is easy! To register your Cub Scout or sign up as an Adult/Volunteer, visit:
Pack 7108 Kiwanis Club of Benicia Registration . Or visit beascout.org to explore Scouting options in your area. While you’re there, consider joining Pack 108 as a volunteer to help guide your future Scout on their journey!

How Long Is your Scouts Membership good for?
  • Memberships are now valid for 12 months from the date of registration.
  • Example: If you join on August 3, 2024, your membership will be active from 8/1/2024 to 7/31/2025.
  • Renewals open 60 days before expiration.
How Can You Help?

Scouting thrives on engaged families and dedicated volunteers. You can support your Scout’s success by:

  • Keeping your Den Leader informed about completed requirements so your Scout receives proper recognition.
  • Volunteering in one of these essential roles:
    • Den Leader: Guides den meetings using fun and engaging resources.
    • Cubmaster: Leads monthly Pack meetings and coordinates Pack programs.
    • Pack Committee Roles: Positions like Committee Chair, Advancement Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer help keep Pack 108 running smoothly.
🏕️ SCOUTS MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Keep your Scout’s membership active by following the steps below.

🆔 Needed: Locate Your Scout’s Membership ID

You’ll need your or your Scout’s Membership ID to renew. You can find it in:

✅ Step 1: Log in to My.Scouting

  • Visit: https://my.scouting.org

  • Log in using the credentials you created during account setup

  • Forgot your login? Click “Forgot Username/Password” on the login page to reset

🔁 Step 2: Complete the Renewal

A. Navigate to the Renewal Page

Use the following format in your browser’s address bar:
https://my.scouting.org/renewal/[YourMembershipID]/new/info

Example:
If your Membership ID is 13642733, go to:
https://my.scouting.org/renewal/13642733/new/info

B. Complete the Process

  • Follow the on-screen prompts

  • Verify and update your contact and payment information

  • Submit to complete your renewal

🔒 Important Notes

  • Login Security: Your login information is private. Pack leaders do not have access.

  • Payment Security: The Pack does not collect or store any banking or credit card information. All transactions are securely processed through the official BSA system.
